B. My friend recommended this school, so I decided to sign up  for this class.How about you?
A.Well, I wasn’t planning on learning English.but my company offered to pay for my classes.I agreed to come, and here I am! I want to keep on taking classes if can.

B.Its a long story! I started working there as an assistant, and I spent months just filing pepers.I didn’t mind doing that for a while, but then I happened to hear about a new sales position.I never intended to be a sales rep, but now I cant imagine doing anything else.

11.  In Great Britain, It’s considered rude to cut in line. You should always wait your turn.

Exercise 2
Ø  How long have they been lived there?
Ø  I guess I know them for 6 months. They moved here in August.
Ø  When did you last see them?
Ø  Um, about a week ago. I think. Last Tuesday.
Ø  What were they doing, When you saw them?
Ø  Well, as I came home, they were carrying a big suitcase to the car.
Ø  Did you speak to them?
Ø  I said, “Hi, Where are you going?” and they replied, “On vacation”
Ø  What time did they finally leave?
Ø  Oh, Um, it was pretty late, around 11 at night, I guess.
Ø  Can you remember what they were wearing?
Ø  Let me think.
Exercise 3.
Ø  Bella used to live in Japan. You loved living there. Right?
Ø  Oh, definetly. I lived there for 9 years, working for a Japanese advertising company.
Ø  Nine years? Wow! Didn’t you ever get homesick?
Ø  Occasionally, But Don’t you think I really miss living at home. I was too busy. I mean of course I missed my family.
Ø  Oh, I bet you did. To be honest how did you get that job? Did they hire you over here or …?
Ø  Actually, I  was already in Japan on an exchange program, staying with this family. And the father starts bringing home all these documents from his work to translate into English. Anyway, I started helping him, and his company ebded up hiring me.
Ø  And they transferred her here. It’s cool story, now?
